Meet Sanjeewa – The new Coffee Guy with a passion for people

Sanjeewa, our newest owner of The Coffee Guy – Ellerslie took over the reins in May 2024, driven by a desire for more happiness and flexibility in his life. And it’s clear his passion goes beyond just brewing. “What I enjoy most is creating an unforgettable experience for my customers by offering a divers menu, top-notch coffee equipment, and even some cookies on the side,” Sanjeewa share “Through my passion for coffee, I aim to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back”

Sanjeewa has quickly become a beloved figure at Remuera Gardens, building a loyal client base. Among his regulars are the villages’ men’s club members, who gather every Friday to discuss upcoming trips over their favorite brews. Sanji even takes their orders and delivers their coffee directly to the Community’s Lounge at Beattie Lodge – just giving them the perfect Coffee Guy service every time.
