With the growing demand for cleaner, greener and more efficient energy solutions, we are pleased to announce the first Coffee Guy van has been successfully converted from outdated traditional generators to sophisticated batter and inverter systems. 

We are ticking all the boxes with Lusty and Blundell’s innovative energy solution while also meeting all the energy requirements ensuring The Coffee Guy performance and reliability doesn’t change. By harnessing renewable energy sources and implementing advanced technology, this project has exemplified a sustainable approach for our franchisee’s mobile business operations.

Key components of the implemented system include:

• Two 24V lithium batteries connected in series, offering a total capacity of 10 kWh.
• Integration of a Victron smart solar controller with 400 watts of solar panels for efficient harnessing of solar energy.
• Implementation of a Cerbo management system equipped with a user-friendly touch screen for real-time monitoring and control.
• Utilization of a Safiery Scotty DC to DC converter to optimize battery charging from the vehicle’s alternator.
• Deployment of a Victron Multiplus 25,000-watt hybrid inverter, enabling seamless integration with AC and DC sources, including the internal generator and grid power.

This innovative setup facilitates smooth operation of various appliances with the coffee van, such as coffee machines, fridges, and blenders, while significantly reducing noice pollution and environmental impacts. This system’s versatility allows for continued use of the generator as a backup energy source, ensuring uninterrupted operation during emergencies.
